Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School is looking for candidates for office this election season - student council offices. Students in grades 9-12 are being encouraged to run for student council with the following offices up for grabs:
• President
• Vice President
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• Class Representatives (four per grade)

Petitions for candidacy are due to teacher Kevin Woods in Room 310 by Friday, September 6. Elections will be held Wednesday, September 11. Students who run for office will have an opportunities to represent their classmates, acquire leadership and organizational skills, and foster leadership among their peers. Additionally, student council will pick the theme for and organize the Homecoming dance, ceremonies, and the “Clash of the Classes.” Students with questions about this process should contact Mr. Woods.
