ORIGINAL POST, 10/1/24: Sto-Rox School District is holding several events over the next few weeks to engage students and their families. In October and November, there will be three events in particular to celebrate the fall season and to honor our parents and guardians. Read on for details!

Sto-Rox Fall Festival
Join us from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 18 for the Sto-Rox Fall Festival! This event will be held on the lawn in front of the Jr./Sr. High School and will precede the final regular season Sto-Rox football game (vs. South Allegheny, 7 p.m.) and the senior night festivities that come with it. There will be games and prizes - including a game for families focused on wellness and reading - pumpkin painting, "make and take" items, educational activities, community resources, free flu shots, and free haircuts. As the festival tagline says, ‘Trick or Treat Yo Self’ to a great time at this Title I event organized by the district and the Sto-Rox Culture Club.

Parent/Guardian Appreciation Night
The district is showing its appreciation to the parents and guardians of its students with a celebration set for 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30 at the Jr./Sr. High School Cafeteria. This inaugural Parent/Guardian Appreciation Night will have a Halloween theme and is open to all district parents, guardians and caregivers. There will be lots of great things happening for parents/guardians and their children including free food, games, and activities. There will also be a free farmers market with fresh fruits and vegetables available for all families. Child care will be provided, so please join us for this fun and spooky celebration!

Community Dinner
The second annual Sto-Rox Community Dinner Title I Event will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13 at the Jr./Sr. High School Cafeteria. Last year’s event was a success as the district and its partners delivered meals to dozens of families. We aim to serve even more families this year, along with providing educational activities, community resources, and so much more.
