Sounds of the holiday season flowed through the Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School Auditorium on Thursday night during the Jr./Sr. High School Winter Concert. The 7th & 8th Grade and 9th - 12th Grade choral groups performed a selection of songs, along with offerings from the 7th & 8th Grade Concert Band and the 9th - 12th Grade Symphonic Band.

Thursday’s performance follows a Tuesday performance by band and choral students at the Allegheny County Courthouse, as part of the county’s annual Holiday Music Program. You can watch performances by students from Sto-Rox and other school districts the link below.

As for Thursday’s concert, please take a look at photos and videos of our students in action. Congratulations to all involved for putting on great performances, including Jr./Sr. High School Band Director Suellen Engelhard and Choral Department Director Jes Bromley. Sto-Rox music students will be in action next Wednesday at 1 p.m. when the Upper Elementary holds its Winter Concert, and we hope to see families then!
