Jr./Sr. High School Preparing for MAP Assessments

Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School students will start January with a fresh challenge: taking MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) assessments. These school-wide, mid-year assessments are computer-adaptive tests designed to measure students' academic growth in areas such as reading, mathematics, and language usage. MAP assessments give our teachers and staff valuable insights into our students' progress and help them tailor instruction to meet individual needs.

The assessment period will take place on Tuesday, January 7 and Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Students are urged to arrive no later than 7:45 a.m. as testing will begin at 8 a.m. While there will be make-up sessions, students tend to do better when in a scheduled school-wide testing atmosphere. Parents are asked to make sure students are well-rested, on-time, and determined to do their best.
