Computers are everywhere - in your pocket, in your home, and in your school. It makes sense then, that Parkway West Career & Technology Center (PWCTC) would offer a program designed to help high school students pursue a career dedicated to protecting computers and the networks that protect them.
The Cyber Security and Networking Technology program offers students the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge to secure jobs and a start a career. Instructors provide a combination of hands-on work and theoretical study that prepares high schools for the workforce or higher education. Students can also secure several certifications that will help them as they pursue jobs including computer repair, network administrator, or technical support analyst.
Cyber Security and Networking Technology is one of 17 areas of study at PWCTC. The school started in the 1960’s and today, Sto-Rox is one of 12 school districts that sends students to this vocational training center. If you’re interested in learning more about this program or would like to attend Parkway West CTC, get in touch with your guidance counselor or contact Parkway West.
