Imagine a job where the canvas for your creativity is another person. Whether you want to work with hair, skin, or nails, the Cosmetology program at Parkway West Career & Technology Center will help Sto-Rox students learn how to do that.
The Cosmetology program allows students to attain their Pennsylvania cosmetology license or become a certified nail technician. Students can even get a license to become an instructor in this field. It all happens in the salon at Parkway West CTC, which is open to the public two days per week. The experience students gain there can help them become stylists, make-up artists, or they can even own their own salon.
Cosmetology is one of 16 areas of study at Parkway West CTC. The school started in the 1960’s and today, Sto-Rox is one of 12 school districts that sends students to this vocational training center.
If you’re interested in learning more about the Cosmetology program or would like to attend Parkway West CTC, get in touch with your guidance counselor or contact Parkway West CTC.
