Celebration was in the air Friday night as Sto-Rox School District celebrated its winter sports seniors. Before the Sto-Rox Boys Varsity Basketball Team played host to Bishop Canevin, seniors for winter cheerleading and boys basketball were honored:

• Kimarah Everett
• Javylah Macon-Butler
• Ciana Mason
The cheerleading team, led by its quintet of seniors, delivered a rousing halftime performance. While Yates was unable to play due to illness, the Vikings took the floor in their season finale and gave it their all. Ultimately though, Sto-Rox fell to the Crusaders. Still, we congratulate all of our Viking teams - Girls Varsity, Boys Varsity, JV, and Middle School Basketball - on a hard-fought winter sports season.
