Sto-Rox School District Awarded $1.75 Million Grant for HVAC Improvements

The Sto-Rox School District is proud to announce it has been awarded a $1,750,000 million Public School Facility Improvement Grant from the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA), as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). The funding will go toward HVAC improvements at the district.  Numerous community events take place in the Jr./Sr. High School and Upper Elementary throughout the year, making this even more important to the district and its neighbors.

The district is sharing in $175 million made available for projects like this across the state. The district thanks CFA, DCED for supporting this vital project, Superintendent’s Chief of Staff/School Board Secretary Martha Hoover and Superintendent Van Fossan for leading the district’s efforts to secure this grant.
