Good morning Sto-Rox families,
Late last night we were notified by local police there was a community threat that involved students. Local police said they would increase their presence at Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School and did not recommend any closure of the building. Out of an abundance of caution, we will be running a modified lockdown at the Jr./Sr. High School today. A modified lockdown means only people with previously scheduled appointments can enter the school. Local police are continuing to investigate and are keeping us informed of any developments, which we will pass along as necessary. We know this can be difficult news to hear, but rest assured we are doing all that we can to make our spaces for learning safe for students, teachers and staff.
