Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School students represented their district in Harrisburg recently. District social worker Alexandria Gariepy and School Counselor Joe Herzing took a group of students to the state capitol to advocate for mental health reform and policy that affects students in Sto-Rox and across the commonwealth. The students received a tour of the State Capitol, gave interviews and met with their local state representative, Anita Kulik. According to Gariepy, the students did so well in speaking about their experiences and Sto-Rox’s needs that Kulik wants to visit them in the district.
