A local restaurant gave Sto-Rox a taste of what it’s like to prepare food in their kitchen by coming to teach Family and Consumer Science classes at Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School. Ann, a cook fro Fabs African Restaurant on Broadway, recently came to Elena Mott’s classes for an entire day. 45 students got lessons in how to make African dishes including Egusi soup, Fufu, Chin Chin, and Zobo, a hibiscus-flavored drink.
