'What's So Cool About Manufacturing' Contest Honors

Sto-Rox students who participated in a regional video-making contest were honored recently at the Heinz History Center. Seventh graders Mia Milkovich, Neveah Morin and Ahlai Robinson created a video showcasing the JATCO company. While the Sto-Rox team didn’t take home any awards, they did get to celebrate their submission with their parents and their staff leader, media teacher Julie Himmelstein, along with Acting Principal Michael Hauser. Several of the companies who were showcased in students’ videos were there, plus BotsIQ had a table for students to use 3D pens to make glasses. There was also a scavenger hunt through the second floor of the History center! Check out the photos below, and the girls’ video submission at right.
