Black History Month Celebration At Upper Elementary

Students of Sto-Rox Upper Elementary celebrated Black History Month with a special event on Friday. Students, parents and guardians gathered in the Upper Elementary gym to hear a selection of songs from the SRUE band and the SRUE chorus, plus readings from selected students. The event closed with a rousing number by all the students from their seats on the bleachers. The event also gave students a chance to show off their Periodic Table of Black History, their black history quilts, and other projects from this month. Thanks to everyone who came out to help the students celebrate!
