The holiday season will soon be brightened by Sto-Rox students, including members of the district’s band and choral groups. See below for the times and dates of this season’s holiday programs.
Jr./Sr. High School: The Holiday Program will be held Thursday, December 15 at Noon at the Jr./Sr. High School Auditorium. Additionally, music students will perform at the Allegheny County Courthouse on Tuesday, December 20 at Noon and 12:50 p.m. The first semester art show will be held starting at 11:00 a.m. just outside the auditorium.
Upper Elementary: The Holiday Program will be held Wednesday, December 21 at 1:30 p.m. The SRUE Chorus & Band will perform, and each grade level will sing songs. No bags will be allowed, and guests must pass through metal detectors.
For the Primary Center, holiday-themed songs will be sung during the Title I Special Person Breakfasts on December 15 and 16. Students can take one “special person” to have breakfast with. Kindergarten and 1st grade will do this on Thursday, December 15, while 2nd and 3rd graders will do this on Friday, December 16. Breakfasts run 9:15 - 10:00 a.m. both days. TOMORROW: Kindergarten and 1st grade students can bring one "special person" to breakfast! No bags will be allowed, and guests must pass through metal detectors.
