The Sto-Rox School District is pleased to be working with Infinite Lifestyle Solutions (ILS) this summer as they provide programming for our students.
• ILS will work weekly with Steel City Impact Summer Camp participants to facilitate SOSAD (Save Our Sons and Daughters) programming throughout Steel City’s summer camp from Monday, June 17 through Thursday, July 25. SOSAD is trauma-informed violence prevention programming that helps students work with their classmates to resolve issues through everything from discussion to yoga.
• ILS will also facilitate a six-week summer program to train SOSAD Mental Health Ambassadors from Monday, June 24 through Friday, August 2. ILS will provide transportation to and from the Junior/Senior High School for SOSAD Mental Health Ambassador Camp.
• Finally, ILS will offer one-on-one art therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) over summer break to students who have been receiving these services throughout the school year, if those students desire it.
