This summer, there is a new boost for transit riders who receive SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, also known as food stamps) in Allegheny County. Allegheny Go is a discounted fares program for people who ride Pittsburgh Regional Transition (PRT).
Starting Monday, June 3 current Allegheny County residents between the ages of 12 and 64, who have received SNAP benefits for the last three months, are eligible for a 50% discount and are encouraged to apply. You must have a mobile device and access to the Ready2Ride app. Check out the flyer at right, or download it at the link below, to learn more about Allegheny Go.
