Applications are open for an important opportunity facing students and graduates in Sto-Rox and across Allegheny County. The ‘Learn & Earn’ program is for teens and young adults aged 14-21. The program allows them to work 25 hours a week for six weeks, giving them valuable experience in the working world. Plus, students will work at sites that are close to their homes, reducing transportation issues.
The application period runs through June 9. For more information about the program including eligibility, the paperwork necessary to sign up, as well as deadlines and dates visit this site.
NOTE: Potential enrollees will need help filling out the forms, so they should get a parent or guardian to assist them. Focus On Renewal can also provide assistance through its library.
