Make Your Mark in Graphic Arts & Production Technology at Parkway West

Students with an artistic flair and a hunger to understand cutting edge technology could be a match for the Graphic Arts & Production Technology program at Parkway West Career & Technology Center. (PWCTC). The program prepares students to build careers in graphic arts and/or printing. Students can learn how to compose layouts, create designs using computer graphics, and study printing and binding techniques.

Courses in Graphic Arts & Production Technology also provide students with the opportunity to become certified with tools of trade, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Lessons learned in class can set up students for further study and fruitful careers as a Graphic Designer, Photographer, Printer, Animator, or Publisher - just to name a few.

Graphic Arts & Production Technology is one of 17 areas of study at PWCTC. The school started in the 1960’s and today, Sto-Rox is one of 12 school districts that sends students to this vocational training center. If you’re interested in learning more about this program or would like to attend Parkway West CTC, get in touch with your guidance counselor or contact Parkway West.
