The Sto-Rox Vikings Football Team opened its season on Friday, August 23 with a home game against the South Side (Beaver) Rams. The Vikings put up a valiant effort but could not hold back the Rams, falling by a score of 44-8. The Vikings also played host to an Alumni Night celebration, with several former Sto-Rox football players and other alumni enjoying a meet-and-greet before the game.
