The annual PSSA (Pennsylvania System of School Assessment) exams are being conducted in Sto-Rox starting this week. These exams are part of a series of tests that help teachers, administrators and state education officials assess students’ performance in Math, English Language Arts and Science. See below for testing subjects and dates:
Primary Center/Upper Elementary
• 3rd-6th graders: English Language Arts, Monday, April 24 - Wednesday, April 26
• 3rd-6th graders: Math, Monday, May 1 and Tuesday May 2
• 4th graders: Science, Wednesday, May 3 and Thursday, May 4
Jr./Sr. High School
• 7th & 8th graders: English Language Arts, Tuesday, April 25 - Thursday, April 27
• 7th & 8th graders: Math, Tuesday, May 2 and Wednesday, May 3
• 8th graders: Science; Tuesday, May 9 and Wednesday, May 10
Parents: make sure your children arrive on time, as testing starts when the school day does. A good night's sleep doesn't hurt, either. Good luck!
