The Sto-Rox School District and Steel City Impact are teaming up - and asking the community for help - to make the first day of school a memorable one for Jr./Sr. High School students. On Monday, August 26, from 7 - 7:25 a.m. a community pep rally will be held outside doors #13 and #14 outside the Jr./Sr. High School along Valley Street.
The theme of this rally is PRIDE, which stands for Personal Responsibility In Delivering Excellence. Organizers are hoping community members who show up with their signs, voices, and school spirit to give students a boost as they head into school. Sto-Rox Cheerleaders will also be on hand to provide a cheerful flair to the pep rally!
