Pageantry and tradition will take center stage on Friday as Sto-Rox celebrates Homecoming Weekend. The Vikings Football Team will play host to Keystone Oaks starting at 7:00 p.m. There are a few things to keep in mind if you’re heading to the game:
Stadium gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
Clear Bags Only (The exception to this rule are small, hand-size “clutch” purses, or strapless bags with a maximum size of 4.5” x 6.5”).
No Alcohol or Tobacco-Related items.
No Outside Food or Drink
Everyone will go through metal detectors.
We hope you won’t have to wait too long to get in, but please prepare to wait. Security guards will work quickly - but carefully - to search everyone and their bags, strollers, and other accessories.
Please don’t stand on the fence.
Check out the Sto-Rox Athletics webpage for more security information.
The game will be preceded by a homecoming parade. It will start at the Anthony J. Sanvito Funeral Home on Broadway Avenue at 6:00 p.m. and travel down Broadway and entering the stadium at Dale Street and Russellwood Avenue (A.K.A. the Courtyard entrance). Additionally, if you are driving to the game, please park in the lot at Dale and Rosamond Streets. Handicapped-accessible parking will be available in the courtyard lot.
Homecoming Dance:
This event will be held at Rockefeller’s Grill on Saturday, September 24 from 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. See Dawn Marshall at the Jr./Sr. High School for tickets.
We want everyone to enjoy themselves during this special weekend for Sto-Rox students and the entire community. We hope to see you at the game, and - Go Vikings!
