Sto-Rox Football Quarterback Josh Jenkins and teammate Shaiky Yates visited Virginia Military Institute (VMI) over the weekend. Jenkins, a senior, was invited by the VMI Football staff for an unofficial visit after they interviewed him last year and reviewed his transcripts, believing he would be a good fit for VMI. Shaiky was invited to come along in an effort to explore his options.
Jenkins and Yates were flown to Lexington and toured the campus, watched the VMI vs. Cornell football game, and met with VMI’s Superintendent, Maj. Gen. Cedric T. Wins (Ret.).
