The Sto-Rox School District announces the following leadership additions:
Dr. Ron Sofo will serve as substitute superintendent as of Monday, November 18. Dr. Sofo is a career educator who has served as Principal/CEO of City Charter High School, Superintendent of Freedom Area School District, and as administrator in various roles in Pittsburgh Public Schools.
Working with Dr. Sofo will be Michael Hauser, Temporary Director of District Operations. Mr. Hauser has been with Sto-Rox for nearly two years, serving as Administrative Advisor and working in a variety of capacities for the district including Acting Director of Operations, High School Principal, and Assistant Principal.
Joining him in leadership will be Asia Davis, the Acting Principal of Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School. Formerly the Assistant Principal for Grades 10-12, Davis will now lead the building and be supported by Hope Schreiber, Assistant Principal. Schreiber, who formerly served grades 7-9, will now serve all grade levels in the building.
