UPDATED: Sto-Rox Taking Part in Community Night at PNC Park, Local Pop-Up

UPDATE, 7/20/23: We have a few more details on the “Pop Up” event happening July 26. Check out the following details:
• The Pirates will be giving away 20 free pairs of tickets to the first people to complete all the activities!
• The Pirates will be bringing all the games and activity equipment.
• We’ll also have hot dogs, sports drinks, water and ice cream for sale in our concession stand.
• If you’d like to buy Pirates game tickets at this event, you can do so with cash or credit card. The tickets will be sent the next day either by mail or email, depending on your preference.

ORIGINAL POST, 6/15/23: Sto-Rox School District is taking part in a community initiative with Tri-State Office Furniture and the Pittsburgh Pirates this summer. Tri-State will hold a “McKees Rocks Community Night at PNC Park” during the Pirates/Braves game on Wednesday, August 9 at 7:05 p.m.

Before that, Tri-State will host a ‘pop-up’ event at the Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School Football Stadium on Wednesday, July 26 from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. There will be food, games, giveaways and a special appearance by The Pirate Parrot! It’s all part of an effort to promote the McKees Rocks Community Night at PNC Park, which is meant to highlight the McKees Rocks Community, especially the area’s youth.
