End-of-Year Celebrations For Sto-Rox Students

The end of the 2022-2023 school year is almost upon us and that means it’s time to celebrate Sto-Rox students and their achievements. Students across all grade levels will be honored during the final days of the year. Parents and guardians are invited to all ceremonies. Security screenings will be done, and bags will not be allowed. Doors will open 15 minutes before the start of each ceremony.

Sto-Rox Seniors Take One Final Fantastic Walk

Sto-Rox seniors will soon take one final walk down the halls of the schools they grew up in during the Sto-Rox Senior Walk on Thursday, May 25. More than 30 students will don their graduation gowns and caps and walk through the halls of the Primary Center, Upper Elementary and the Junior/Senior High School.

VIBE Team Members Make a Difference

The V.I.B.E program — a three-person violence intervention and prevention team at Sto-Rox— stands for Violence Intervention Building Empowerment, but Hassain Estes, the leader of the program, likes to sometimes refer to them as something else. 

“Personally, I feel like we’ve got the dream team,” Estes said. “We work together well, and that builds everything else around us.”
