Congratulations to Boys Varsity Basketball Coach Dwight Hines, who reached 100 wins over the weekend with Sto-Rox’s 63-34 victory over Hopewell at the PBC Classic in Ambridge. Coach Hines and the entire Boys Basketball program continue to make us proud!

A Sto-Rox teacher with a sportswriting background is putting his passion to the forefront in a new book. Chris Scarnati, who teaches English Language Arts to 6th graders at Sto-Rox Upper Elementary, recently published his first book, “Fighting Till The End,” about McKees Rocks world champion boxer Paul Spadafora.

UPDATE, 10:53 a.m. 1/19/24: With today’s snow expected to taper off this afternoon, and after conferring with Keystone Oaks, we are planning to host tonight’s boys basketball games between Sto-Rox and Keystone Oaks. JV tip-off is 6:00 p.m., while the Varsity game is set for 7:30.
