Sto-Rox School District students and their families have a new resource as they pursue financial aid for further education. The Pennsylvania Department of Education has created a new, statewide PA FAFSA helpline: 313 PA FAFSA (313-723-2372). This free helpline is available to “all aspiring PA postsecondary learners, their families, and practitioners to help complete the 2024/2025 FAFSA,” according to the state Bureau of Postsecondary and Adult Education. “With a text to 313 PA FAFSA, Commonwealth students and families will get connected to a live expert at uAspire, a national nonprofit that specializes in student financial aid advising.”
Students, families, and practitioners can text 313 PA FAFSA at any time. You can ask questions, set up personal advising sessions, and can text as many times as you need. Texts sent by PA residents late at night or over the weekend will receive responses within 24 business hours. The helpline is also available in Spanish.
Sto-Rox School District’s school counselors are also available to help students with their financial aid needs. Go to the School Counseling section of our website to learn more about them and their offerings.
